Hi I'm new here. I tried www.saultaxidermy.com. The link doesn't work. I'd like to know more about training. I live in Canada and there are no training or course opportunities here. Terry

Hey I once also went to Hocking college and took their courses there. I live in Lima, Ohio (NW) I am interested if there are any schools that are in this section of the state?

To answer your question, No there aren't any schools around Lima. Art Ledger had a school in Cleveland but I'm not sure if he still opeartes it or not. To be a "school" you must be certified by the state education department. You must submit a packet of information breaking down credits, grading, ect plus provide them with a $10000 surety bond. With that being said, Our studio is in NW Ohio just an hour from Lima and give 1 on 1 "classes" in taxidermy. This is not a school and you will not be graded on your work, but you will also not be fighting for the instructors attention with 15-20 other students. Classes are done around the students schedule and work at their pace. This ensures that the student grasps every step of the processes. Please feel free to call us at 419-553-0143 and set up an appointment to come view our work or see classes being taught in person. We have a student from Columbus attending Jan 7-25th and a student from Wisconsin attending Feb 4-22nd. We look forward to meeting you.
