As founder and editor of The Natural Resource, a new online forum developed to promote all things outdoors in Ohio, I'd like to formally introduce our project to this group.
I have been watching this message board grow and evolve (with excitement!), and at this point in our development, our project could really use your collective input.
We are a very unique web site in that we physically map resources (business interests and natural resources alike) on interactive maps that pertain to fishing, hunting, camping, boating, biking, and even golf. TNR is unique to Ohio, and since its launch in October 2006, it has enjoyed an ever-increasing following.
TNR has launched two maps specific to Ohio taxidermists, one for fish and one for game. Please take a moment to view each at:
We have built our database to more than 200 Ohio taxidermists thus far, but we recognize that our data can always benefit from expansion and improved accuracy. Anyone legitimately operating within the industry is eligible to be mapped as shown, free of charge. Additional promotional opportunities are available for a very reasonable annual membership fee. This is a great way to get in front of a broad, but targeted audience.
Revisions to each map on the site are made each week, so please take a moment to comment with additions, corrections, and deletions - as appropriate. This is a grassroots effort, so it needs grassroots input!
TNR is trying to add web addresses, contact names, and email addresses to each resource on the site, so if you are able to contribute that information, it would be much appreciated!
Without further ado, please have a look at the site (www.thenaturalresource.com), and let us know what you think.
Thanks in advance,
Eric Kraus
