If anybody needs any furbearers for mounts let me know. I'll be bringing some items to the show in a few weeks. Frozen on carcass I have red fox, badger, porqupine, a couple weasle and one small beaver (15lb.?) I have some tanned game farm skins too. Lifesize fallow with antlers, black hawian cape with horns, bison cape, small lifesize whitetail buck (southern shorthair) and some other odds and ends.
JIm, is there a place I can plug in, or do I need to bring the generator?

There should be a spot but bring thegenerator if it's not too big a problem...we don't know exactly how things will work in a new venue until we get there...know what I mean.

OK...now we get into another gray area.
How can I buy furbearer's from you without a fur buyers permit?
AND if I buy a Bobcat from you can I sell it?

Had to bring that up didn't you No, technically you can't buy a raw fur of an Ohio furbearer from me without an Ohio Fur Dealers License. It is something that has been discussed before, and has never been enforced by the wildlife officers if you are buying one for you own use. Rod and Brian have both been there and know people have bought them and didn't have a problem since they were just using it for display. If you were going to buy it to resell, it would be a problem. Something that is not an Ohio furbearer, badger (with paper work) porcupine etc. is not covered under the raw fur dealers license. You can buy any furbearer that's tanned, the license is only for raw fur. Now, whether you can sell it after it's mounted, without a raw fur dealers license is that gray area that needs cleared up with the DOW. I will contact the county wildlife officer and get his opinion so nobody gets in trouble. I forgot, I do have a real nice light colored wolf from Alaska for sale. I bought it for a customer of Carols, it was going to go with a lifesize caribou he had, but with the tight economy he backed out on the wolf. I had it dry tanned, and she had just soaked it for measurements a couple weeks before he changed his mind. I think it was about 90 lb. female, not white but a real light color, it will make a great show piece.
