Im mounting a buck that was harvested this nov. Im mounting him rubbing a tree for the show.I want to use a pine tree that he has rubbed. What should I use to preserve the tree to keep it looking fresh or should I not do anything?

I am no expert but since nobody else has spoken....
Pine Trees/branches are very hard to preserve with needles intact. You can try soaking in Glycerine but I will say it probably will not work. You will probably need to paint and re-attach needles.
I know that Carol, Keith's wife has had some nice pine in some of her displays maybe he can hit her up for some ideas.

There are some very realistic artificial pines available! (not cheap)

Check at the Flower Factory. That is where I get alot of my habitat material. They have some junk but they do have some real good stuff. Besides habitat materials, great place to get disposable gloves, stir sticks and lots of other things.

If you have a Hobby Lobby, or Michael's crafts near you they are good places to look. Another one you can order from is Tapscott's.
